Well designed radio systems offer more than just basic radio units, there are other enhancements that give extra functionality and provide a much more responsive system format. These other items can range from control consoles through to voice logging and data transmission and storage. These are often the areas that equipment manufacturers or vendors fail to fully explain and evaluate in the system proposals.

• Radio Control Console systems, from the very basic single handset control unit through to large multi-channel multi-operator systems.
• Voice recording systems for radio networks, from basic units through to multi-operator multi-channel recording systems
• Basic microwave systems
• Radio programming technologies
• System and radio site monitoring networks

It may be that a system design could include several of the above areas of technology. The correct choice of technology and options should be made by the client after consideration of all of the benefits offered within the various capabilities.
